Tracy Dumas is a lifelong community advocate, nonprofit leader, and transformational speaker dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities through education, equity, and opportunity.
A proud alumna of the Beloit School District, Tracy graduated in 1988 and began building her strong work ethic early, gaining valuable experience throughout the Beloit community at Walgreens Soda Fountain, Geri’s Hamburger, Beloit Memorial Hospital, and Chrysler Corporation. These formative experiences grounded her in the importance of service, responsibility, and community connection.
In 2002, Tracy relocated to Florida, where she expanded her professional experience across healthcare, education, and human services. She worked at Orlando Regional Medical Center in the Burn & Trauma Unit as a Unit Clerk and Monitor Technician, supporting patients and clinical teams in high-acuity settings. Her passion for education and advocacy led her to become a Special Education Teacher in the Polk County School District, where she thrived in empowering students with unique learning needs and championing inclusive education.
Tracy’s academic journey reflects her commitment to leadership and service. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Everest University in 2008, followed by dual Master’s Degrees in Organization & Management and Human Services with a concentration in Social & Community Services from Capella University in 2012. As a Master Licensed Child Welfare Specialist, Tracy has dedicated her career to supporting children and families navigating complex systems with compassion and advocacy.
In 2011, Tracy founded Living Out Unique Dreams (L.O.U.D.), a nonprofit organization contracted by the State of Florida and the Department of Juvenile Justice. Through this diversion program, she worked closely with at-risk youth, providing mentorship, accountability, and life skills development. L.O.U.D. earned recognition and grant funding for its impactful work and successfully served youth until 2017.
Today, Tracy is the Founder & Executive Director of Rising Queens Inc. and the owner and operator of R. Family Care Services LLC and R. Taxes LLC. Through Rising Queens Inc., she leads community-centered initiatives focused on youth mentoring, women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, and direct outreach for underserved populations. She is also the author of Mind Your Business: Entrepreneur & Financial Literacy Guide, a resource designed to help individuals build sustainable businesses and economic stability.
Rising Queens Inc. was born from Tracy’s unwavering commitment to creating meaningful, lasting change. Her leadership is rooted in lived experience, professional expertise, and a deep belief in the power of community. Tracy continues to inspire, lead, and advocate for a future where individuals and families are empowered to rise with dignity, confidence, and opportunity.
