608 KIDZ Afterschool Program
To Embrace, Educate, and Empower our black & brown children how to understand and face life’s challenges with confidence, courage and competence.
Vision: To be able to provide equitable opportunities for our black & brown children to be afforded the same access to good education and the ability to become successful likewise to their counter-partner.
We strive to improve their academic achievement, self-esteem, social competence, and focus on physical and mental wellness, while avoiding risky behaviors, by providing the youth with a safe environment where they will develop the talent and skills to make them productive citizens.
